If you use the default settings the SCOM 2012 web console shows no informational alerts in the Active Alerts view . Only warnings and critical alerts will be shown .
If you check the Active Alerts view’s properties you will see that there is just one condition to show alerts which do not have a resolution state of 255 (closed alerts).
You can easily modify the Active Alert view by adding another condition to add alerts with a specific severity. In our case we select Information, Warning and Critical.
If you save these settings your informational alerts will show up in the SCOM web console.
